LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Wednesday laid wreaths on the graves of his slain mother, uncles, grandparents and ‘Martyrs of Democracy’ in Bhuttos’ mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto amid tight security.

He also condoled with sons of martyred constable Ramzan Jarwar and held meetings with party leaders from Larkana and Qambar-Shahdadkot districts at Bhutto House in Naudero.

Accompanied by central president of the party’s women wing, MPA Faryal Talpur, Mr Bhutto-Zardari also offered fateha and laid wreaths on the graves of his grandfather Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, mother Benazir Bhutto, uncles Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto and other relatives.

The mausoleum was cleared of general public before the visit of Mr Bhutto-Zardari.

They also visited Khanwah village in Ratodero taluka, where they offered condolences to the sons of Constable Ramzan Jarwar who was martyred in an encounter with criminals.

At Bhutto House in Naudero, Mr Bhutto-Zardari and MPA Talpur held meetings with PPP MPA Sardar Khan Chandio and his brother MPA Burhan Khan Chandio, who apprised them of public issues in their constituencies in Warrah and Qambar and the measures taken for their resolution.

MPA Taimur Talpur also met them and informed them about the issues of the people of Kunri. Larkana Mayor Advocate Anwar Ali Luhr, along with his father Ali Nawaz Luhr and PPP MPA Jameel Ahmed Soomro, briefed them on the ongoing development projects in Larkana city.

PPP leaders from Qambar Shahdadkot district, Imdad Abbasi, Shafqat Abbasi and a notable Asadullah Khuhro met them and exchanged views on various matters.

PPP Sindh president Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, MNA Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, PPP Larkana leader Abdul Fattah Bhutto, MNA Ramesh Lal, MPA Sohail Anwar Siyal, former MNA Naseeba Channa and other party leaders were present during the meetings.
