ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training got an allocation of Rs18.5 billion for its 14 ongoing and three new schemes for fiscal year 2025-26.

An amount of Rs300 million has been allocated for three new schemes, which include construction of Centre of Excellence for Autism Children at H-11. For this scheme Rs100 million have been earmarked while Rs100 million have been allocated for construction of a model college for girls in B-17 and Rs100 million for a model college for girls in F-17/2.

According to budget documents, Rs18.2 billion have been allocated for 14 ongoing development schemes. Major part of the funding has been fixed for establishment of Daanish schools in Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan. An amount of Rs8 billion has been allocated for these schools.

Three Daanish schools are being built in Azad Kashmir, four in Gilgit-Baltistan and four in Balochistan. Similarly, Rs1.8 billion have been allocated for a Daanish school which is being built in Islamabad.
