A FEW years ago dacoits were ruling in the Tando Qaiser village, Hyderabad district, and committed many crimes, including kidnapping, killing innocent people, taking bribes, and cutting mango and other trees.

However, peace prevailed after the police and the army carried out an operation against them. But once again the network of dacoits has started growing day by day. Besides, their activities are increasing at a fast pace.

Here is a list of their recent criminal activities.

On Sept 20, they stole farm equipment from Deh Bheendo, cut 34 neem trees, put them in their tractor trolley and drove off. They also resorted to intense firing and demanded for money.

They have stolen at least seven motorcycles within a month. They have robbed many people at Tando Qaiser, Tando Haider, Bahawal Zaunr, and Hussain Khan Thoro/Tando Jam. Even though the police was informed about it at Rahoki, Hyderabad, but no action has been taken against them as yet.

We request the authorities concerned to carry out a drive against the dacoits.
