LAHORE: Two girls were killed and another injured when a speeding vehicle ran over them in Garden Town on Saturday.
Rescue 1122 said the deceased were identified as Mahda and Sonia. The third girl sustained injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Local residents overpowered the two boys driving the vehicle and handed them over to the police.
The suspects were identified as 21-year-old Atiq and 19-year-old Abdullah, who are currently being investigated.
