ISLAMABAD: Excise and Taxation Department Islamabad collected Rs21.34 during the fiscal year 2024-2025, setting a new record for tax collection.

Director Excise Islamabad Bilal Azam has said the excise department has broken all previous tax collection records by collecting revenue of Rs21.34 billion. During the last fiscal year, the department collected a total of Rs17.23 billion in tax revenue, he added.

The excise department’s tax collection witnessed a growth of Rs4.11 billion during the fiscal year 2024-2025, the director added.
