TOBA TEK SINGH: A Faisalabad Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team conducted a raid on Monday in Shorkot, Jhang district, and arrested three people allegedly involved in hawala hundi and currency exchange business.

They were identified as Azam Tariq, Munir Ahmad and Tariq Abbas. The FIA seized documents and records related to their unlawful business and transactions.

The official stated that efforts were underway to arrest their other accomplices through ongoing raids. Also, an FIA immigration team arrested a murder case suspect from Faisalabad at Multan airport on Sunday night.

Junaid Saeed, who was attempting to flee to Saudi Arabia, was wanted in a murder case registered by Chak Jhumra police. His name was on the interior ministry’s stop list, and he was handed over to Faisalabad police.

ACCIDENT: A man and his son were killed after being run over by a trailer on Sunday night in Kamalia on Chichawatni Road.

Qasim and his son Bilal, residents of Chowki Chadhar Wala, Kamalia, were on their way home from Chichawatni on a motorcycle. Attempting to overtake the trailer near Kalaira Adda, they fell, resulting in the 22-wheeler trailer running over them, causing instant fatalities, according to Rescue 1122 officials.

Family sources claim that Azizullah, residing in Muhallah Peer Shah Wali, failed in the annual matric examination and reappeared in the supplementary examination.

When the Faisalabad board announced the result two days ago, revealing another failure, he went into his bedroom to sleep. When he did not wake up, his parents broke the door and found him hanging from the ceiling fan.

MURDER: A man and his two sons allegedly tortured a relative to death over a property dispute in Faisalabad on Monday.

Shakila Bibi, the complainant, stated in her FIR registered under sections 316 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code by Ghulam Muhammadabad police that her husband Arshad was overpowered and tortured by brothers Samiullah and Shahryar and their father Muhammad Khan.

Critically wounded, he was rushed to the government general hospital in Ghulam Muhammadabad, where he succumbed to his injuries.
