DERA GHAZI KHAN: Former PML-N MPA Atif Khan Mazari, who was shot dead by his son late on Wednesday at his residence in Umerkot, was laid to rest in his native graveyard on Thursday.
Atif Mazari was shot dead by his son, who is stated to have mental health issues, when he was having dinner with guests.
Sources said son Basit Mazari was under treatment for behavioral issues.
Atif Mazari was a popular tribal leader of Rujhan Mazari.
Umerkot police arrested Basit for killing his father on the report of Rehman Mazari, another son of Atif Mazari.
