KARACHI: Arsalan Iqbal CC beat Karachi Volts in a crucial T20 game of the Karachi Defence Cup being played here at the IBA ground recently.

Arsalan Iqbal CC, batting first, scored 113 all out in the stipulated twenty overs with Man of the Match Muhammad Ali scoring a fluent 50. In reply, Karachi Volts were bowled out for just 102 in 19.2 overs.

In another key match, Dubai Hawks lost to DSA CC. Dubai Hawks, batting first scored 122 all out. In reply, DSA CC scored 124 for the loss of just three wickets in 12 overs to win in style. Man of the Match Najeebullah Khan scored 30 in a breezy knock.

In another match of the day, Karachi Stallions lost to Aimmz Trading by four wickets. Batting first, the Stallions were bowled out for just 96. Ataur Rehman captured two wickets. In reply, Aimmz Trading reached the required target in just 13 overs for the loss of six wickets.

In the last match of the day, Bilal Associates beat Arsalan Iqbal CC by 56 runs. Batting first Bilal Associates scored 211-6 in 20 overs. In reply Arsalan Iqbal CC could managed only 155-7 in 20 overs. Wasim Ali bagged 4-24 to win Man of the Match award.
