LAHORE: A civil judge on Tuesday disposed of the case singer Fariha Pervez had filed for dissolution of her marriage with Nouman Javaid.
Fariha told the court that she wanted to withdraw the case as Nouman Javaid, also a singer, had given her divorce papers.
The counsel for Ms Fariha also submitted the divorce documents before Civil Judge Bashir Chaudhry along with an application for withdrawal of the suit. The judge accepted the request and disposed of the suit as withdrawn.
Fariha Pervez had filed the suit to end her less than a year-long marriage with Nouman Javaid, quoting some irreconcilable issues.
