LAHORE, June 2: Lahore operations DIG, three DCOs and some other officials of the Punjab government were transferred and posted here on Thursday.

DIG Rao Sardar was transferred and posted as Sargodha RPO. He was replaced by Gujranwala CPO Ghulam Muhammad Dogar.

Former Khushab DPO Abubakar Khuda Bakhsh, who was changed for allegedly torturing an engineer sometimes ago, was posted as special branch DIG.

Telecommunication SSP Rai Tahir was transferred and posted as Faisalabad CPO.

Okara DCO Babar Shafi was transferred and posted as additional secretary (sports), higher education department. He was replaced by Home Department's Additional Secretary Saif Anjum.

Bahawalnagar DCO Muhammad Amir Jan was transferred and his services were placed at the disposal of home department. He was replaced by finance department Additional Secretary Asim Iqbal.

Kasur DCO Muhammad Jahanzeb was transferred and posted as industries department deputy secretary. He was replaced by Faisalabad finance and planning EDO Irshad Hussain Shah.

Bahawalnagar Coordination DO Hamza Ali was transferred and posted as higher education deputy secretary.

Multan district regional transport authority secretary Tariq Mahmood, under transfer as Sheikhupura DRTA secretary, was posted as Sargodha district regional transport authority secretary.

Kamoke Assistant Commissioner Nadia Shafique was transferred and posted as Mianwali Punjab Education Sector Reform Programme (PESRP) DMO. Khushab Assistant Commissioner Sumaira Zaheer was transferred to replace Ms Nadia.

Mianwali Anti-corruption Assistant Director Qamar-uz-Zaman Qureshi was transferred and posted in place of Ms Sumaira.

Zafarwal Assistant Commissioner Wasif Bashir Khokher was transferred and posted as Gujrat Anti-corruption Establishment Assistant Director vice Shabbir Husain Cheema who was posted in place of the former.
