KARACHI, May 14: The summer vacations in all the government and private schools and colleges in the city will commence from June 15.
This was stated by EDO (education), Karachi, Prof Rais Alvi, on Tuesday.
He said this year the summer vacations would be of one and-a-half month duration.
Prof Alvi said curtailment of 15 days in summer vacation was aimed at ensuring that there be more academic activities in the educational institutions.
The educational institutions will re-open on August 1.—APP
