RAWALPINDI: The Federal Investigation Agency’s anti-corruption circle in Islamabad has arrested two officials of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for allegedly being involved in the illegal transfer of CDA plot.

A spokesman said that the anti-corruption circle of the suspects in the connivance with other accomplices, seized the rights of the original victim, Khurshid Akhtar (deceased) and forged a plot in Islamabad’s sector I-12/4 in the name of Khursheed Bagum instead of Khursheed Akhtar.

The FIA spokesman said that the suspects committed this fraud in 2016 connivance with CDA officers. The suspects were arrested, and an investigation was launched, while raids were underway to arrest the other suspects.
