ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Baitul Mal (PBM) and Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) have joined hands to serve the deserving and economically disadvantaged segments of the society.

For this purpose, the two organisations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at a ceremony at the PBM’s Head Office here on Wednesday.

PBM Managing Director Senator Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt and Managing Director OPF Mohammad Afzaal Bhatti validated the MoU with their signatures and exchanged official notes.

The agreement outlines a shared vision to implement sustainable projects focused on healthcare, education, food security, and livelihood development for the underprivileged.

Speaking on the occasion, PBM head stated: “This partnership marks a new chapter in our ongoing mission to bring hope and tangible support to those who need it most. Together, we will create a more inclusive and compassionate society.”

Mr Butt also reaffirmed his commitment to implement the vision of the government to mitigate the sufferings of the poor in the country.

The OPF chief remarked that by combining resources, networks, and passion for service, we are confident this collaboration would make a meaningful impact in the lives of many beneficiaries of PBM.
