KARACHI: The Democrats on Saturday swept once again the annual election of the Karachi Press Club.

Fazil Jamili was elected president by getting 560 votes and Sohail Afzal Khan elected secretary with 604 votes.

Imran Ayub was elected treasurer by getting 668 votes, while Muhammad Munsif was elected the joint secretary with 688 votes.

Members of the KPC governing body are: Abdul Hafeez Baloch got 741 votes ( the highest number of votes), Hammad Hussain, Kafeel Ahmed, Mona Siddiqui, Manzoor Sheikh and Muhammad Farooq.

As many as 871 members, out of 1,507 eligible voters, exercised their right to vote in the elections.
