VEHARI: The death toll in Tibba Sultanpur road accident rose to eight here on Saturday as two more family members succumbed to their injuries at Nishtar Hospital, Multan.

On Friday, six family member were killed in a van-car collision at Tibba Sultanpur. On Saturday, two more - Lubna (16), daughter of Naseem and Arvish (3), daughter of Sajjad - breathed their last at Nishtar Hospital.

According to Rescue 1122, both the girls had received critical head injuries in the accident. They said five-year-old Arslan, son of Naseem, is critical and being treated at Nishtar.

Meanwhile, eight-year-old Wajiha, daughter of Talib Husain, died at Nishtar Hospital.

She had suffered serious injuries a few days back when a motorcycle-rickshaw had hit the parked trailer on Club Road, Vehari.
