According to the FIA, its anti-human trafficking circle was told by a man recently deported from Turkey for entering the country on a fake visa that a firm, A&h Travels, having office in Siddique Trade Centre, Gulberg, Lahore, was involved in the fake visas business.
On Tuesday, an FIA team constituted by Deputy Director Javed Sultan raided the firm’s office and arrested four suspects – Asim Riaz, Wasim, Waqas Siddique and Hassan Shahbaz – for their alleged involvement in the illegal business.
The team claimed to have recovered 124 passports, two laptops and five computers from the office being used in the scam.
It also sealed the office and booked the suspects under section 17/22 of the Immigration Ordinance 1979.
