QUETTA: Iran’s Consul General in Quetta Hassan Darwesh Wand has said that his country wants to promote trade relations with Pakistan.

During a meeting with a delegation of the Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) here on Wednesday, he said promotion of bilateral industrial and trade activities was the guarantor of economic prosperity of both countries.

The consul general said the Iranian consulate attached importance to the recommendation of the BCCI for issuance of visas to the people associated with trade.
