Talk shows

Published October 21, 2020

WATCHING talk shows daily on various TV channels, we as a nation feel frustrated as anything constructive is hardly ever discussed in these programmes. Instead, participants blame each other for all the ills for one hour and the programme ends without any conclusion and productive debate.

The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) and all TV channels should make it clear to the participants that they should talk on what they can do to ensure Pakistan’s prosperity. TV channels can play a great role by having discussions on how to make Pakistan a prosperous nation.
