Four ‘kidnappers’ held, body of child found

QUETTA: Levies Force on Tuesday arrested four alleged kidnappers and recovered the body of an eight-year-old boy who was abducted from Barshor area of Pishin district last month.

The suspects are close relatives of the boy.

Levies force officials said Fareedullah was kidnapped on Feb 16 and his kidnappers had demanded huge money as ransom for his release from his father Paiodin Barakzai. The father had agreed to pay the ransom but in the meantime the kidnappers had killed the boy and buried his body in the courtyard of a house.

Levies personnel on a tip off raided the house in a village in the Barshor area and found the body which bore torture marks.
