FAISALABAD: Three persons, including two Chinese nationals, sustained injuries when a train hit their crane at an unmanned railway crossing at Jhok Ditta, Sattiana, on Tuesday.

Rescue 1122 officials said two Chinese and a Pakistani were riding in a crane and crossing the railway line when a Lahore-bound passenger train hit it.

The injured were identified as Ishtiaq Ahmad, 30, who fractured his leg, and Mislio, 35, and Ming Shana, 37, both Chinese engineers, who sustained minor injuries. They all were shifted to a hospital.

The accident damaged the crane and railway engine and derailed its three bogies.
