LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed on Monday 17 food outlets for food safety and hygiene rules violations, according to a spokesman.
A PFA team sealed four premises in Data Ganj Bakhsh Town. The premises included Al-Fazal Sweets, Malik Javaid Hotel, Shahi Murgh Chanay and Ghani-Jee Restaurant on Abbot road. The team also fined Tooba Restaurant.
A PFA team in Gulberg Town sealed Fine Fast Food Restaurant and Maula Bakhsh Paan Shop and fined Arshad Pakori, Pizza Hutt and Pelilose Restaurant.
A team in Samanabad Town sealed Irfan Naan Shop, Nayab Filter Water, a Rashid Bakery’s production unit, Pizza Fast Food and Fri Chicks.
In Ravi Town, a team sealed Arif Sweets, Kashmir Bakers and a Khalifa Bakers’ production unit.
In Shalimar Town, Madeena Sheer Farosh and Bilal Juice Corner were sealed while Rafique Sweets and Bakers was fined.
In Wagah and Aziz Bhatti towns, teams sealed Bhola Rehmani Milk Shop and Anmol Sweets whereas in Nishtar Town, a team imposed fine on Al-Fazal Milk products’ shop. — Staff Reporter
