THE previous federal government’s achievement was the destruction of sports during its short governor’s rule in Punjab.
It was on account of their diversion of police resources to a political ‘witch-hunt’ that proper security could not be provided to the visiting Sri Lankan cricket team.
From that day foreign teams in all sports stopped coming to our country.
I guess this should be added to the many other ‘proud’ landmarks which are being projected in huge front-page advertisements funded from public money. Bravo!
