KARACHI, Oct 24: PMC Athletico and Baloch FC won their matches while Afghan FC and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) played a draw in the three 8th Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) matches played on Monday.

PMC Athletico edged past Pakistan Air Force (PAF) 1:0 at the Municipal Stadium in Rawalpindi. The deciding goal was scored by Nadeem Aamir in the 48th minute.

At the Sadiq Shaheed Stadium in Quetta, Baloch FC, too, beat Karachi Port Trust (KPT) by a narrow 1-0 margin with Baloch FC’s Sherdil Khan getting them the golden goal very early on in the fourth minute.

Later, Afghan FC and PIA played a 1:1 draw at the same venue. Zabihullah scored for Afghan FC in the 32nd minute and Abdul Ghaffar restored parity for PIA in the 70th minute.

Tuesday’s fixtures: Navy v KRL (3.30pm) at Municipal Stadium, Rawalpindi; PEL v HBL (1.00pm) at Sadiq Shaheed Stadium, Quetta; Muslim FC v KESC (3.30pm) also at Sadiq Shaheed Stadium, Quetta.
