KARACHI, Jan 11: Striker Idrees bagged a hat-trick as Singalone (UC-9) beat Winder Gadani 3-1 in the KESC Lyari Football League-2011 at the Shaheed A. Rehman Park here on Tuesday.
The Group ‘B’ encounter saw Idrees getting his three goals in the eighth, 28th and 41st minutes. The consolation goal for Winder was scored by winger Naseer Ahmed in the 55th minute.
Agra Taj (UC-1) and Uthal played a goalless draw in the other match played in Group ‘C’, which started after a minute of silence in respect of former Lyari footballer Murad Bakhsh, who passed away earlier in the day after a prolonged illness.
