LAHORE: SQ Seagold/Newage Cables and Master Paints/Sheikhoo recorded contrasting victories on the third day of the 11th Battle-X Polo Cup here at the Lahore Garrison Polo Club of the Cavalry Polo Fields on Wednesday.

A three-goal contribution from Saqib Khan Khakwani helped SQ Seagold/Newage Cables edge SEAFA Logistics International 6-5½.

Other than Saqib, Ali Quli Khan, Adnan Jalil Azam and Shiraz Qureshi netted one goal apiece.

For SEAFA Logistics, who had a one-and-a half-goal handicap advantage, Agha Musa Ali Khan scored all the goals.

Raja Samiullah’s superb five-goal show steered Master Paints/Sheikhoo to an 8-3 Victory over the Peshawar Polo Club. Mir Huzaifa Ahmed added three goals for the winners.

Lt Col Faizan Tasadduq Bhutta struck two goals and Israr Wali contributed one for Peshawar Polo Club.
