RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto told the “Mainichi Shimbun” of Japan recently that there was no way other than co-existence with India and for that … it was necessary to hold summit talks on the Kashmir problem and other matters. The [PM] ... suggested a conference of countries around the Indian Ocean for establishing a Nuclear free Zone and the principle of non-possession of nuclear weapons by countries of the Indian Ocean. Regarding relations with Japan, the [PM] said that since Japan stopped import of raw cotton and cotton yarn last year, the cotton industry, which is the main industry of Pakistan, suffered a hard blow. This he noted as one of the future problems between Japan and Pakistan. — News agencies
