QUETTA: The Balochistan government has prepared a plan to construct an underground car parking plaza which will accommodate 203 vehicles. Quetta Division Commissioner Shahzeb Kakar was informed this during a meeting here on Tuesday. The parking plaza will be constructed at Mutton Market.

Officials informed the commissioner that in addition to parking, commercial units will also be part of the project. The ground floor of the plaza has been designed as an open square aimed at enhancing the city’s aesthetics and providing open space for the people.

The meeting was further informed that the design phase of the project has been completed and excavation work is progressing rapidly on the site.
