LAHORE: The Punjab government on Monday transferred and posted senior officers soon after they completed the National Management Course, and also reshuffled some others in the province through five separate notifications.

Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Mudassir Waheed Malik has been posted as Member (taxes), Punjab Board of Revenue, against a vacant post, while BoR Member (Judicial-1) Muhammad Ibrahim Junaid was directed to report to the Services and General Administration Department for further orders. OSD Babar Aman Babar has been posted as BoR Member (Judicial-I).

On an officiating basis, Member (Enquiries-I), S&GAD, Naheed Gul Baloch (presently on 59 days ex-Pakistan leave from May 14) has been transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD for further orders.

Punjab Special Education Department secretary Shahida Farrukh Naveed has been transferred and posted as Member (Enquiries-I), S&GAD.

Secretary (Archives & Libraries Wing) of S&GAD, Muhammad Khan Ranjha has been transferred and posted as secretary of special education department. OSD Silwat Saeed has been posted as secretary (Archives & Libraries Wing) of S&GAD. Tajammal Abbas Rana, who was awaiting posting in S&GAD, has been posted as Member, Chief Minister’s Inspection Team (CMIT), Punjab, against a vacant post.

South Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Department special secretary Azfar Zia has been transferred and posted as director general (Forest), Punjab, against a newly created post. Punjab energy department deputy secretary Sajid Muneer has been transferred and posted as Khushab additional deputy commissioner (ADC-General) against a vacant post.

DG Khan ADC (Revenue) Nauman Farooq has been transferred and posted as deputy secretary of energy department. Vehari ADC (Revenue) Usman Munir Bukhari has been transferred and posted as DG Khan ADC (Revenue). Punjab special education department deputy secretary Muhammad Babar Suleman has been transferred and posted as Vehari ADC (Revenue).

Dr Fayyaz Ali, who was awaiting posting in S&GAD has been posted as deputy secretary of the Punjab special education department. Similarly, Rashad Iqbal, who was awaiting posting in S&GAD, has been posted as deputy secretary of the Punjab school education department against a vacant post.

Punjab specialised healthcare and medical education department deputy secretary Hafiz Irfan Hameed has been transferred and his services have been placed at the disposal of the PHATA director general on a deputation basis, for further adjustment. South Punjab irrigation department deputy secretary Naeem Sadiq Cheema has been transferred and his services have been placed at the disposal of Provincial Disaster Management Authority DG on a deputation basis, for further adjustment as South Punjab deputy director.

Ahmad Naveed, who was awaiting posting in S&GAD, has been posted as deputy secretary of irrigation department, South Punjab. Similarly, Muhammad Abid, who was awaiting posting in S&GAD has been posted as CMIT secretary against a vacant post.

The Punjab government cancelled the transfer/posting order of local government and community development department deputy secretary, Muzammal Ilyas, as CMIT secretary. Through a separate notification, Asad Naeem, an OSD in the S&GAD, has been appointed special secretary of South Punjab livestock and dairy development department.
