NO GAS SUPPLY: For the last several days, we have no gas supply at our house in Block 1 of Gulshan-i-Iqbal (Customer No: 0472940000). The problem started with the constant lowering of pressure, and then the supply halted altogether.
I lodged a complaint (No: 0477981871) on May 3. Despite repeated reminders, which are on record, no one from the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has turned up to investigate the matter and resolve the issue so far. We are an old-age couple facing serious hardships. Can the higher SSGC management look into the matter and resolve it urgently?

CANCER HOSPITAL: Balochistan is a neglected province on several counts. The absence of a dedicated cancer hospital is one of the key issues affecting the people. The number of cancer patients in Balochistan has been increasing, and with limited healthcare resources in the province, the patients struggle to receive timely and effective treatment close to their homes. The provincial government should establish a specialised cancer hospital in the province without any further delay. Doing this is crucial for the sake of improving healthcare access and outcomes for cancer patients, enhancing community health, and supporting those in need.

SETTING A PRECEDENT: The recent Indian attacks make one wonder if its actions were inspired by Israeli suggestions of setting up a new precedent, one where India feels secure to attack an area protected under international law. Though, as expected, it completely failed, but its intentions were enough to know that the two extremist ideologies are sharing the playbook here. While the international community failed to stop the Indian madness, Pakistan once again took the matter in its own hands, forcing the world to rethink its strategy. As for the international bodies, like, say, the United Nations, they yet once again proved their utter uselessness.
