BAJAUR: District Police Officer (DPO) Wiqas Rafique here on Friday directed the police personnel, deployed at the remote posts in Bajaur, to remain alert to counter any activity affecting peace in the district.
The DPO issued the instructions to the police personnel during his visit to various police checkposts in far-flung areas of Utmankhail and Salarzai tehsils, said a police statement.
The district police chief instructed the police personnel to remain on high alert during duties to prevent any anti-peace activity by the miscreants in their respective areas.
While recognising the bravery of the police personnel, demonstrated during the recent terrorists’ attacks on some checkposts, the DPO said that the people of the entire district were proud of police force, the statement concluded.
DOMICILE CERTIFICATE: Taking serious notice of the unnecessary delay in issuing of the domicile certificates to the students, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shahid Ali Khan directed the officials concerned of the district administration to must ensure the issuance of required certificate to all the students by Sunday. He issued the directive after taking serious notice of the extended delay in the issuance of the domicile certificates to the students, wanting to enroll in the first year classes.
The deputy commissioner instructed the officials to remain in their officeson Saturday and Sunday to ensure that all students could get their certificates by Sunday afternoon, the statement added.
