LAHORE: Journalist Salman Abid’s new book “The Case of Local Governments” (Politics, Democracy, Decentralisation and Transparent Governance), has been published.
In the book, a comprehensive review of the local government system in Pakistan, along with the challenges and difficulties it faces, is presented.
The book offers insights into future prospects and provides recommendations. It also includes an examination of local governments in South Asia and some European countries.
