GUJRANWALA: A team of the Punjab police and the Anti-Corruption Establishment raided the native residence of senior politician Hamid Nasir Chattha and PTI senior vice president of Central Punjab Muhammad Ahmad Chattha in Ahmed Nagar.

Both the father and the son, who were not present in the house, face the allegation of developing a housing scheme and selling plots without approval.

Ahmed Chattha had gone into hiding after the events of May 9. The raiding team conducted a thorough search under the supervision of the Saddar SP and the Wazirabad DSP.

The Insaf Lawyers Forum claims the allegation against Ahmad Chattha were baseless.
