KARACHI: The Aga Khan University (AKU) on Tuesday announced to redo the entrance test for the MBBS programme 2023-2024 “for fairness and academic excellence”.

The AKU statement came after a number of admission seekers, who had appeared in the test, took to the social media and questioned fairness of the process. They claimed that the question paper was the same that had appeared in 2012. Some also alleged that many candidates who prepared for the test from certain coaching centres knew about the questions prior to the test.

“The Aga Khan University is aware of the ongoing conversation concerning the annual entry test conducted for its Medical College, Pakistan MBBS programme on Sunday, August 6, 2023,” said the statement.
