LOWER DIR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa caretaker Chief Minister Azam Khan along with chief secretary Nadeem Islam Chaudhry, police chief Akhtar Hayat Gandapur and provincial ministers on Monday visited the District Headquarters Hospital, Timergara, and inquired after the people injured in the Bajaur suicide blast.

Azam Khan visited various wards and met with all the injured persons. He also presented flower bouquets to the injured and prayed for their speedy recovery. Lower Dir deputy commissioner Iftikhar Ahmad, hospital’s medical superintendent Dr Asghar Ali and other officials were also present.

The chief minister directed the hospital administration to take extra care of all the injured and provide them with every possible treatment.

Talking to journalists, the interim CM said the terrorists had no religion and no humanity. He said no nation and no religion could permit terrorists to carry out sabotage acts. He said the terrorists would not be spared and the government was committed to rooting out the menace from society. He announced that the martyrs and injured would be provided with financial assistance.
