LAHORE: Doctors say the test reports of the maid allegedly tortured by employers in Islamabad unveil some internal injuries, besides arm fracture.

According to Lahore General Hospital Chief Executive Prof Dr Al-fareed Zafar, the second follow-up meeting of the board formed for the treatment of Rizwana, 15, examined her new medical reports.

He said the board conducted a detailed physical examination of the injured girl. He said the CT scan report shows injuries in ‘internal flesh and muscles’ of her body.

The girl also had a fracture in her arm and the injuries were old, he said while quoting the findings of the medical board meeting.

“Further tests are being conducted in the light of the recommendation of the medical board,” he said, adding that her condition was improving.
