ISLAMABAD: The Balochistan government’s focal person lashed out at former prime minister Imran Khan on Sunday over his recent allegations against an army official.

Addressing a news conference at Balochistan House in Islamabad, Farah Azeem Shah said a person who had held the highest office in the country should be careful while speaking.

“Imran Khan should consider that, by accusing an institution, he may be fulfilling the agenda of the enemies,” she said.

Ms Shah also advised the country’s youth to carefully use social media and keep a check on “false and fake propaganda” against national institutions.

During the presser, Ms Shah was also grilled by media persons, one of whom alleged that she was spending a luxurious life in Islamabad. She replied that being a representative of the Balochistan government, it was her responsibility to reach the capital and share the provincial government’s stance.

Ms Shah also condemned the incident of PTI Senator Azam Swati. She said a transparent investigation should be held to identify who was behind the video leak. The FIA later said it had forensically analysed the video circulating online and found it to be fake.
