PESHAWAR: Awami National Party general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain said here on Friday that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government was removed purely through a democratic and constitutional process after Imran Khan lost the confidence of his allied parties and parliament.

He said Imran Khan was the first prime minister of Pakistan who had been ousted through a successful no-confidence motion.

Talking to office-bearers of Pabbi Press Club, Nowshera, he said that Imran had lost the confidence of both the allied parties and parliament and his public meetings now were aimless.

He said that Imran had failed to address people’s problems despite his party’s nine years rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Mr Hussain said that the PTI leader had deceived the masses in the name of change and religion.
