KARACHI: The city administration on Friday started demolition of Royal Park Residency in pursuance of Supreme Court orders.

Commissioner Navid Ahmed Shaikh visited the site to inspect the ongoing demolition work.

He was briefed about the progress of the demolition and told that all efforts were being made to complete the work within the deadline given by the apex court.

The commissioner directed the deputy commissioner, East, to ensure the completion of demolition within the deadline.

The commissioner also visited the Tejori Heights Tower and was told that the possession of the project had been taken over by the DC as per instruction of the Supreme Court.

Later, the commissioner visited the Nasla Tower. He directed the DC to prepare a comprehensive report regarding this building’s land record in compliance with the orders of the SC.
