FPSC transparency

Published October 13, 2020

THE Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) conducts CSS and general recruitment tests annually throughout the country. Every year, thousands of candidates appear in various tests hoping to secure jobs only to be denied the opportunity due to mismanagement by the FPSC.

The commission’s transparency and credibility have come under serious fire time and again for not providing the carbon copy of OMR answer sheet to the aspirants, a fairly common practice in other testing services, and not uploading the answer key post-test. As for the results, by the time they are announced, most candidates end up forgetting their roll numbers.

I request the authorities concerned to look into this serious matter and make FPSC’s recruitment process more transparent. I would also like to request the FPSC chairman to consider adding Larkana as a testing centre for general recruitment process.
