ISLAMABAD: Police have arrested suspects, including seven alleged drug pushers, from various areas of the city and recovered narcotics, wine, valuables and weapons from them, a spokesman said. He said SP (City) Mohammad Omer Khan constituted a special team which arrested six drug pushers and recovered 10 kg hashish from their possession. Cases have been registered against them and investigation is underway.

Furthermore, Tarnol police arrested two suspects and recovered 410 grams of heroin and 350 grams of hashish from their possession. Noon police arrested three suspects and recovered a stolen motorbike and valuables from them. Shahzad Town police arrested two persons after recovering a 30-bore pistol, 250 gram hashish and six cans of liquour.
