ISLAMABAD: Ministry of National Health Services (NHS) on Wednesday withdrew its notification regarding removal of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) Executive Director (ED) Dr Ansar Maxood.

As a result of the notification issued by NHS Secretary Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik, new ED of the hospital Dr Rizwan Hameed Malik has been removed, though he was holdinglook after charge asED of the hospital like his predecessor.

On Tuesday, ministry had discontinued the look after charge of Dr Ansar Maxood as Pims Executive Director and the same was given to Dr Rizwan Hameed Malik.

Dr Maxood was appointed as Pims ED on Aug 9 last year after former executive director Dr Raja Amjad Mehmood went on ex-Pakistan leave.
