SWABI: A 13-year-old boy on Wednesday got registered an FIR in the Zaida police station here against two men for allegedly molesting him the other day.

The incident allegedly occurred in Naway Cham area of Zaida city on Tuesday. It went viral on social media and people demanded strict and immediate action against the accused persons because two such cases had already happened in the district and shaken the region.

The teenager, in his FIR, stated that Amanullah who lives in Zaida area but belongs to Bajaur tribal region, had taken him to Naway Cham area on a motorcycle.

The boy told police that a man named Yasir, also of Zaida area, was already present there, because Amanullah seemed to have called him there. The complainant said the two men took him to a room and molested him.

When contacted, Sultan Mohammad, SHO of Zaida police station, told Dawn that they would take action in light of the medical report which, he said, had already reached his office, but he was yet to go through it.

However, a source in the police investigation department said the medical report was negative.
