SWABI: A man allegedly shot dead his mother and sister over a domestic issue in Panjpir village here in the early hours of Sunday, police said.

Registering an FIR, Liaquat Khan, father of the killer, said that his son, Kamran Khan, opened fire on his mother and sister inside their house, killing them on the spot. The victims were identified as Rukh Shan Ara and her daughter, Farzana Gul. The killer escaped the area after the incident.

The police registered an FIR and began investigations.

Meanwhile, four persons, including three constables, were injured when a police van collided with a rickshaw near Panjpir Irrigation Canal on Sunday, said the police.

The police mobile was on way to Zaida police station when the incident occurred. As a result, three constables and the rickshaw driver were injured. They were taken to Bacha Khan Hospital Complex, Shahmansoor, where doctors said that rickshaw driver, Naseer Mohammad, was in serious condition.

Two of the injured constables were identified as Saddam Khan and Imran Khan.
