LAHORE: Bollywood film director Sabbir Khan says Pakistani movies have a huge following in India.
He was jointly addressing a video press conference with film actor Tiger Shroff at a local hotel located on Egerton Road on Sunday.
The press conference was organised by IMGC, a film distribution company, in connection with upcoming Indian movie ‘Baaghi’, being released in Pakistan and other countries on April 29.
The film features in lead roles Shraddah Kapoor and Tiger Shroff.
Addressing the press conference, Sabbir Khan said he had made an entertaining film which also touched social issues. To a question, he said most of the Indian movies did highlight social issues.
Tiger Shroff said he was lucky that for the second time he got an opportunity to do a film with director Sabbir Khan. “I did not know ABC of the film industry; however I learnt a lot from Sabbir Khan.”
To another question, Shroff said the female lead Shraddha Kapoor was his childhood friend; she was a simple and a friendly girl.
Ms Kapoor was sick and could not attend the conference so a recorded message by her was played on the occasion in which she said that she had a lot of love for Pakistani film audience.
