KARACHI, Oct 8: Three young men were found shot dead in the Gadap area on Tuesday, police said.
They added that the bodies were recovered from the bushes near Haji Karim Goth behind the firing range of Rangers, off the Superhighway. The victims appeared to have been killed a day ago, the police said.
“Each victim was shot in the head with a single bullet,” said Malir SSP Nasir Aftab.
He said one of the deceased was blindfolded. Two victims were wearing trousers and shirt, while the other was clad in shalwar kameez.
He said all the victims were in their 30s. “They look like Baloch but one can’t be sure about it,” added the police officer.
The bodies were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities, the police said.
‘Sectarian’ attack
A man was shot dead in a suspected targeted attack in the Kalakot area on Tuesday, police said.
They added that two gunmen riding a motorcycle attacked a motorcyclist, Ali Raza, 45, just after he dropped his wife at a school near Nazman Masjid on Tannery Road in Shah Beg Lane.
The attackers were wearing ‘red caps’, the police investigators said.
They added that Mr Raza sustained a single bullet in his head and was rushed to the Civil Hospital Karachi where doctors declared him dead.
Lyari SP Shahnawaz said the murder could be the result of sectarianism.
He said the victim, father of three, owned a tailoring shop in Moosa Lane and was reportedly a nuha khwan.
Two policemen shot dead in SITE

“It’s the Metroville area where a picket of SITE-A police station was set up,” said SITE SP Fida Hussain. “They were walking to a nearby eatery to have dinner as per their regular routine. As soon they came out of the picket and entered a street, four men on two motorbikes intercepted them and fired multiple shots.
