Benazir remembered

QUETTA, June 21 The PPP's parliamentary leader in the Balochistan Assembly, Mir Sadiq Ali Umrani, paid homage to party's slain chairperson Benazir Bhutto before the start of the budget speech by Finance Minister Mir Asim Kurd Gailo on Monday.

Deputy Speaker Syed Matiullah Agha, who was presiding over the session, allowed Mr Umrani to speak on a point of order, ignoring other members who also wanted to raise some issues.—Staff Correspondent
