LAHORE, June 22: Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Vice-Chancellor Dr Adil Najam on Friday urged graduates never cease to learn and know that life would recognise them for their good.

Speaking at the Graduate Night 2012 on the eve of 24th convocation of the university, Dr Najam said he wanted to give graduates a gift of prayers that they should never cease to be a student and keep learning.

LUMS Rector Razzak Daud said the graduates should keep on strengthening their association with the university and its teachers.

At the graduate night, 10 corporate medals and 129 Deans’ Honour List shields were given to top graduates. As many as 713 graduates will receive degrees at LUMS 24th convocation on Saturday (today).

Pakistan’s first Oscar winner documentary filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy will be the keynote speaker at the convocation.
