SWABI, Nov 10: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief minister’s visit to the district has been delayed due to killing of local ANP leader Hanif Gul Jadoon in a suicide attack on the Eid day at Malikabad. The district leadership has already announced a week’s mourning and postponed all engagements.

Sources said the chief minister was scheduled to visit the district soon after Eid, however, the sudden incident had shaken the party leadership leading to postponement of the visit.

District information secretary Javid Khan said: “The party leadership will hold a condolence meeting to pay tributes to their late leader. Quran Khawani for the slain leader would also be held,” he said.—Correspondent
