KARACHI, Oct 24: The Pakistan People’s Party’s Karachi chapter on Monday set up a three-day condolence camp at its secretariat, where visitors will be able to share their grief with party workers over the demise of Begum Nusrat Bhutto. Arrangements have been made for Quran Khwani at the camp as PPP leaders, activists and supporters in large numbers continued to visit the secretariat throughout the day on Monday.

They paid their respect to Begum Bhutto and recal-led her sacrifices for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan during the military rule of General Ziaul Haq.

Habibuddin Junedi, Nafees Usmani, Izhar Hasan Zai, Ghulam Muhammad Sammo, Latif Arain, Yasmin Butt and Shamim Mumtaz were among those who paid homage to the former first lady at the camp on Monday.

According to a spokesman for Bilawal House, arrangements for Quran Khwani and condolence meetings have also been made at Bilawal House.
