Engineering jobs

Published February 24, 2025

THE Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) had announced engineering cadre jobs in the irrigation, works and services, and education departments in 2021. The written examination was held in February of that year, and the results were anno-unced in June last year. The interview process concluded in early September.

However, despite announcing the results of various categories, the SPSC has yet to release results of the engineering cadre, leaving all the candidates in a state of frustration and uncertainty. The aspirants have repeatedly visited the SPSC head office, but officials continue to dismiss their concerns, merely stating that the results would be announced soon. The SPSC has long been marred by controv-ersies, raising concerns about its trans-parency, efficiency and fairness in the recruitment process. Allegations of nepo-tism and irregularities have plagued the institution, undermining the credibility of its examinations and selection procedures. The relevant authorities should take immediate action to address this delay, and ensure transparency in the overall recruitment mechanism.
